The Sonshine Community Thrift Store enables us to meet the needs of the community in many ways. Our store is blessed with many quality donations from the community. Our customers come to our store to find amazing bargains and in the process, support our ministry. If we have a family in crisis, we can provide them with everything to make their situation bearable, and if they are homeless, once we are able to help them attain housing, we can provide them with basic needs. A portion of the sales enable us to help families financially, with assistance such as: rent, utilities and car repairs.

We partner with many agencies and faith-based organizations in the Central Florida area who refer their families to us to receive items, such as clothing, shoes, household items, school supplies, furniture, bedding, infant items and more. [More Info]

The Food Pantry provides nonperishable food, produce, meat and fresh bread, 3-days per week, all at no charge, and has implemented a summer lunch program for the disadvantaged children of the community.

We partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

We are supported by a large team of volunteers that run the daily operations, coordinate pick-ups and ongoing food drives hosted by local schools, churches, businesses and many other organizations. [More Info]
