Our Annual events are:
A Heart for HOPE – This Fundraising event which includes inspirational speakers, music and wonderful silent auction items, is held annually to raise funds to help in continuing to assist our families in crisis.
Christmas in the City – This Community Outreach event was created by HOPE in partnership with their Church Coalition “OneBody” to make sure that no one goes without during the holiday season. Families are greeted by Shephard’s and receive food and gifts for the holiday season. The public is welcome to join in a feast, and share the spirit of Christmas, while listening to worship music throughout the day. This event is completely volunteer-driven, and all gifts and food are provided by the local community.
OneNow – This Awareness event is held annually to bring awareness to the true aspects of poverty and homelessness in our community, and asks the question: “What’s the One thing you can do – to make a difference?” Non-profits both local and international join together with speakers and bands for a full day of outreach. Find out how you can make a difference and get plugged into your community at OneNow.
